You can start your driving lessons from your home or a designated place. We have many students who choose to start lessons from the University of Cumbria, Lakes College, Gen II and the Energy Coast UTC.
If you don’t feel comfortable driving on your initial lesson let the instructor know they will take you to a quieter street before you begin
Driving lesson will cover the DSA’s official syllabus where you will learn t to drive safely. Our dual controlled cars ensure that you and other road users stay safe while you are learning and you will gain confidence in no time.
LEARN TO DRIVE AND UNDERSTAND THE RULES OF THE ROAD AROUND WORKINGTON
Whilst taking your driving lessons in the Workington and Whitehaven area, you will start to get an understanding of the Highway Code and rules of driving in preparation for your theory test. There are many websites, videos and apps to help you learn and prepare for your test. As well as learning the rules of the highway code, we will also teach you about some of the awkward roads and junctions in Workington and the surrounding area, so you are aware of them prior to your test and when you are driving solo after passing your test. Don’t worry Whitehaven harbour will become a breeze.
