Don’t worry, if you don’t feel comfortable setting off in front of friends or work colleagues, let the Driving Instructor know and they can make a short drive to a quieter street before you take control and begin your driving lessons in Kendal.
Each driving lesson will cover different aspects of the DSA’s official syllabus where you will learn the various systems, skills and techniques to drive safely. Our modern dual controlled cars will ensure that you and other road users stay safe while you are learning and the quality instruction provided will see you driving and gaining confidence in no time.
LEARN TO DRIVE AND UNDERSTAND THE RULES OF THE ROAD
Whilst taking your driving lessons in the Kendal and Lake District area, you will start to get an understanding of the Highway Code and rules of driving in preparation for your theory test. There are many websites, videos and apps to help you learn and prepare for your test. As well as learning the rules of the highway code, we will also teach you about some of the awkward roads and junctions in Kendal and Bowness, so you are aware of them when you are driving solo after passing your test. Don’t worry Kendal High Street will become a breeze.
Ask your instructor any questions on your theory test or to go through any manoeuvres you feel you need to improve before your test.
All instructors work on a self employed basis
To learn to drive in Kendal all driving lessons are conducted in the Kendal area as this is where the test routes and the Test Centre are.
When booking lessons if you are from outside the immediate Kendal area please arrange a mutual pick up and drop off point close to Kendal this is both cost effective and less maximises the time spent on actual driving lessons
